Editing Niger Whole Milk Egret

The Niger Whole Milk Egret was a Panafrican Heron-bird known to reside in many areas across Subsaharan and even, on rare occassions, the Sahara Deser itself. The Niger Whole Milk Egret was named as such because of its unique diet, which consisted of whole milk- oft plucked straight from the teet of a bovine animal- and other dairy products. The Niger Whole Milk Egret was known to quietly sneak beneath the udder of female cows and bulls, at which point it would purse its beak into a round shape mimicking that of a crying calf, and attach its beak to the udder of the animal; thusly, it would begin to suck, and would suck until it had drained the cow of all milk available. This behavior earned it the nickname 'the Milk Thief' from African farmers and dairymen, and resulted in the hunting of the Niger Whole Milk Egret to near full extinction by the turn of the 1st century AB. Thankfully, upon their reclassification as 'endangered' species, the Whole Milk Egrets were taken to wildlife refuge facilities, including Taman Wildlife Genetics Facility Lagos, and kept in captivity, preserving the species, and its unique behaviors, for many years to come.
