During the earlier epochs of the omniverse, The Bordesians were a great and powerful civilization, with vast cities and technological wonders that were the envy of the omniverse. But some great cataclysm or disaster befell them, and they were forced to abandon their home world of Bordesia and flee to the fringes of space. Now, they wander the vast emptiness of the universe, always searching for new worlds to explore and new mysteries to uncover.

They are said to possess knowledge and technologies that are far beyond the understanding of most other races, and many seek to gain their favour or learn from their wisdom.
