Airplanes were a wild vehicle breed commonly tamed by Humans and Humash for intraplanetary travel; such as between cities and continents. They were hard to tame, and once bred domestically, would continually yield smaller and less efficient stock with each generation. Therefore, the most powerful and well-bred planes were in fact the ones freshly tamed from the wild; famous planes such as Air Force One and Boeing 737, and Airbus A320 were freshly pluched from the wild and tamed using bird fodder (birds thurst into the plane's propellers) and oranges, one of their favorite foods. In Pangean times, wild Airplanes roamed across Old Earth; however, Man all but extinctified them in thr 60s BB, following the development of international commonplace commercial air travel.

Taming the Airplanes
Airplanes could be tamed in several ways; firstly, through the speakeasying of a trained Airline Pilot (the equivalent of a Horsemaster), secondly, through the offering of Oranges and other citrus fruits to them by Humans, and thirdly, by providing large flocks of seagulls or geese for the Airplanes to consume via rotor consumption, grinding the birds to a pulp. All of these things built trust within the mechanical hearts of the Airplanes, and Airplanes developed strong bonds with humans who did so. However, not all humans could pilot an airplane; it required specially trained pilots, who trained for years, to do so. Untrained people attempting to pilot Airplanes almost always resulted in disaster, as the lack of a bond with the plane made it unruly and erratic. This resulted in plane crashes when it happened, an unfortunate tragedy of this symbiotic bond that people and Airplanes shared.
