Gorilla Z was recreated from the long-dead animal using complex DNA Splicing techniques, resulting in a near-perfect revival of the animals which had been dead, by that point, for nearly 500,000 years. However, Gorilla Z soon developed her own consciousness while under supervision of OmniStar Corp Scientists, and broke out of their highly secure sheet-metal and plywood testing facility. From there, she hitched a ride on an Enclave transport, which was headed into battle at [[Kragdrysil|Kragrysil]].
