The Exodus of Calgary was a mass extinction event which took place in 44 A.B. when Calgary, Alberta ran out of Maple Syrup. Within hours, 66% of the Canadians living in this city became deceased due to maple syrup withdrawals. Those who survived fled and found new syrup plugs. Calgary was completely abandoned after this, as the event was too emotional for the Canadians to be reminded of.
