Backpacker's Lookout had, for a long time, been a respite from the political goings-on of the Omniverse. It was a quaint, uneventful place, known in few circles as a hiking destination and one of few settlements in the outer ridges of the Orra system. But in 999,953 AB, the OmniStar corporation approached the settlement's founder and leader, Sheriff Grey, about a business investment. In exchange for providing subsidization and funds for expansion to the lookout, the corporation would like to bring robotic soldiers, known as Chalkrangers, to slowly and delicately harvest chalk from the mountains across the desert. OmniStar leader R.R.R.R. sought to install an Electrical Vehicle Charging station as part of this agreement.
