BLAMPIST-1 was a small red dwarf star located directly opposite Sol in the Milky Way. Sol and BLAMPIST-1 were eternally soul-tethered. It was home to seven planets, a rather high amount for a solar system, those being BLAMPIST-1 B, BLAMPIST-1 C (Arrakis), BLAMPIST-1D, BLAMPIST-1 E (Blampistia Prime), BLAMPIST-1 F, BLAMPIST-1 G (Vardonna) and BLAMPIST-1 H.
It was the home system of the Vardonnens and Fremen, both major players in late-stage Galactic politics.
