He was a military genius, having fought in the [[7 Hour War|7 Hours War]] as a commander alongside [[Benjamin Frunklin]]. His military skill was a trait which the [[Combine]] had previously disregarded when they had stolen his organs and sent him to a Ohioan slave labor camp. However, the Combine was soon pressed with finding a leader for the Confederate States, and after a thorough background check of their entire intergalactic constituency, it was determined by the [[Combine Offices Complex Knot (C.O.C.K.)|C.O.C.K.]] that Jefferson was the most suited to lead the nation. After the war was lost, Jefferson was captured and brought back to [[Ohio]], where he later died.
