Sauron Microcosm

The Sauron Microcosm was a miniature-scale entity which was nearly identical in chemical makeup to the guardian of Portland, the Eye of Sauron. The Sauron Microcosm was used by the governments of the world to see into the future. During the Great META War, the nations of Earth used the power of the Sauron Microcosm to foresee the Combine’s next moves.

Origins

The Sauron Microcosm appeared wrapped in a mysterious cloth on the doorstep of famed Canadian ice skater Brandon Hondale in 20 B.B. Brandon, perplexed by the object, delivered it to his local militia, which then delivered it to the Board of Waifuria. The Board’s scientists at Black Mesa began studying the Sauron Microcosm’s tremendous power.

Resonance Cascade

The Sauron Microcosm wasn’t in Black Mesa for long before it became a serious problem. Doctor Eli Vance, a leading researcher at Black Mesa, exposed the Sauron Microcosm to a small quantities of Xen crystals, as an experiment. The two objects were dangerously reactive to each other, and their interactions led to a resonance cascade which led directly to the Lambda Incident.

In the aftermath of the Lambda incident, The Orb (as it became known) was transported to a high-tech facility in Delaware where it was kept under strict lockdown and protection from United States Government entities, until 6 A.B., when the Sauron Microcosm’s containment unit was breached during the Yonise Escapade. It disappeared and was not seen by Humans again.

Headfishing

The Sauron Microcosm was used by the Great MAGA King (as well as many other prominent figures, including Bill Clinton and Geoffrey Eckstein) to engage in heinous, non-euclidian sexual acts with extradimensional beings. Usually, the instigator would place an appendage of their choice into the Microcosm’s pupil, and would hold it there until something ‘bit’. The practice became known in elite circles as “headfishing”.
