Sunbender was the Omniversal God of Supernovas.
The son of Kroasis, Sunbender took after his father in meddling with stars. A god by profession, but a basketball player at heart, Sunbender loathed performing his duties of celestial immolation. Although he did not create stars as his father did, he was tasked with their destruction, when the time came. Eventually, Sunbender grew tired of this task, though. He began to 'Make things interesting', as he put it. he would grab large chunks of plasma from the cores of the stars, and play with them like a basketball. This would usually cause the stars to begin to collapse (pictured) from the outside in, as the sudden destabilization triggered a chain reaction in the celestial core.
Sunbender tried out for several American NBA teams, but unfortunately didn't make the cut, due to his being 100 meters tall and dwarving every other basketball player on Earth.
