Swinging Gus was a Zerrian Truss, whose face was pale and whose mind was mush. He wore a cape of jade and niter; and shared his boon with Jessie Plyder. A wealthy one, was swinging Gus; who hoarded gold and gems and snuff. A royal one; indeed was he, descended from great family. Min, he was; baroque and lean, and bore his wealth with a pious sheen. He drew the ire of those around; when built did he a great playground. Formed of iron and steel and tin, the playground was arife with sin. Drugs were dealt and wounds were slashed, for Swinging Gus still garnered cash.
Jessie saw, to her dismay, that Gus was growing glum and grey; despite the growing playground's throngs, the slides were boring; the walls were slogs. "I wish, My dear, to slosh about; like tire tracks or saurkraut. I wish my dear, to flap around; pushed by wind; without a sound."
Thought they did 4 nights and days; overtime was Jessie paid. Pondered they an unclear aim; to stay in place, and move the same. Attempts were made, test dummies croaked. A post was built; a bridge, a moat. But settled they on a peculiar frame; whose mid was flat, but whose sides were 'A'. And from the top of this packaged deal; clanging chains of wrought, white steel; affixed beneath them, was of course, the severed spine bone of a horse.
Sit did gus upon this throne; and rode he did, this horse's bone. Forward, backward, all around; Swinging gus had left the ground. "The swing!" He cried, to Jessie dear; and say did she, "A Golden Year!"
Swinging Gus, a rich man, sought long and hard for more; such a cling till built a swing; for then, his spirits soared.
Swinging Gus, a Min man, was wealthy and a bore; but Swinging Gus, that hero's truss; of swinging, he was shore.
Swinging Gus (Swing, swing, oh!)
Swinging Gus (The Swing, the Swing)
Swingin', swingin' swingin, swingin
GUS!
GUS, gus, gus!
OH!
Gus!
