Forest Man, seen in Trail Cam Footage.

Forest Man

Despite its name, the Forest Man was not a Man at all.

Forest Game

The Forest Man was a class D4 Cryptoid which prowled the woodlands of North America and Asia. It hunted for lonely animals and children, which it would then lure into a game of Tic Tac Toe. Survivors of Forest Man report games were always played in the dirt, and chunks of flesh were used as markers. If The Forest Man won, it would begin eating the victim alive. if the victim won, Forest Man would offer a chunk of its own flesh as penance, and a new game of Tic Tac Toe would begin. The games would usually end after the victim had suffered enough losses of Tic Tac Toe and blood, and fell unconscious on the ground. This was not satisfactory to the Forest Man, and it would often begin pumping its own "blood" into the victim in an attempt to resuscitate them. The victim's body would reject the blood and the individual would suffer a painful and agonizing death.

Folklore

The Forest Man was behind numerous famous folk tales across the world, such as Sasquatch, Jiangshi, Hansel and Gretel (the witch), among many others. This was due to its uncanny ability to use pheromones to alter the brain chemistry of life forms in its proximity. It would often use this capability to create fictitious and whimsical scenarios before feeding on its victims. It's likely that the Forest Man did this purely for its own entertainment.

Trail Cam Incident

In 3 A.B, on June 9th, around 3:00 A.M. EST, the National Parks Service of the United States began receiving an overwhelming number of calls about a "suspicious sighting" in the forest. They recieved over 20,000 of these calls over the next two days, and they all had one thing in common- they were sightings on a trail camera. When the owners of these trail cameras sent in photos of their sightings, they all featured nearly identical images of the Forest Man, staring blankly into the trail camera. This sighting deeply disturbed the National Park Service employees, who sent numerous recon groups out to investigate the mysterious creature. None of these individuals were ever seen again.
