Goffardsworth Kabalonius Preomordikat IV was the son and successor of Preomordikat III and served as ruler of the Interplanetary Dominion during what would prove to be a significant transitional period in the civilisation's history. He ruled for several hundred million years before his death.
Preomordikat IV was a deeply controversial figure within the Dominion. Unlike his father, he was perceived as distant from the populace and was widely criticised for failing to embody the martial and cultural ideals that the Preomordikat name had come to represent. His father reportedly despised him for these qualities, viewing his disposition as a betrayal of the family's legacy.
His reign eventually came to an end under circumstances that became one of the most discussed ironies in Dominion historical record. Preomordikat IV, a being who had survived hundreds of millions of years of interplanetary rule, died from a common cold, a minor infectious illness by the standards of most known civilisations. His death was further attributed to his engagement with capitalist consumer culture following the Dominion's approach to Earth. He was reported to have been captured and subsequently indulged excessively in consumer goods and experiences within too compressed a timeframe, which in combination with the illness proved fatal. His death was widely considered a humiliation by Dominion historians, particularly in contrast to the circumstances of his father's death.
