The Grievous Quartet, otherwise known as the Fearsome Four, was a four-piece hivemind entity which was constructed using the remains of General Grievous. After his death at the hands of Gordon Freeman, top Combine scientists came together to salvage the brain matter of the crowbar-crumpled general, and these remains were quickly brought back to the COCK for Reanimation.
At first, one clone was developed, with enhanced technological suit capabilities. However, Combine Advisor 4EEEE-D suggested that they simply make more clones, in order to control larger regions of the galaxy as Grievous had done.
Ultimately, four clones were developed
Bloodblight, who specialized in physical combat
Starblight, who specialized in naval warfare
Moonblight, who speciailized in land invasions and aerial combat,
Boneblight, who was especially stealthy and also incredibly good at killing things.
These four clones were raised at the COCK, and brainwashed with Combine propoganda from a young age, so as to give thier brains no room whatsoever to grow outside of what the Combine needed.
Within several decades, the clones had reached maturity, and, after being raised together for their entire lives, they were seperated and each assigned to sectors of the Andromeda galaxy, with entire naval fleets under their command.
