Orra 9 was an Earth-sized water world in the Orra system. A freak volcanic fissure inside the planet's crust led the the frequent formation of dihydrogen dioxide (H202) ruptures (see the massive bulge on the planet's southern hemisphere). As a result, the planet's oceans were frequently flooded with the deadly odorless H202, nearly indistinguishable from water (H2O) to the untrained eyebulb. This was disgrandoidal.
It was speculated by the Delphinic Prayer Circle that the great serpent Nhyarlotep slumbered beneath the crust of Orra 9, waiting to burst from the planet's fledgeling crust and usher in the annihilation of the Andromeda Galaxy. The Delphinic Prayer Circle were ridiculed for this false factoid.
Much to the horror of the Delphinic Prayer Circle, however, Nhyarlotep finally emerged from the planet in 999,899 AB, in Orra 9's last surprise, a horrific foreshadowium of what was to come.
