Description
The Outervoid is the name given to the expanse of space that lies outside of the Omniverse/Multiverse. Its true size is unknown, although it is known that it is far larger than the infinite expanse of the Omniverse/Multiverse. The Outervoid is extremely anomalous in nature, and visitations from Omniversal/Multiversal beings are incredibly rare and frequently result in extreme cases of ego death and incurable psychosis. It is not advised to attempt to access the Outervoid by any means due to these factors as well as the many incomprehensible beings that live there that will do some seriously fucked up shit if they catch you. Just look at what happened to James Fargo.
Inhabitants
The Outervoidians
The Outervoid is inhabited primarily by the Outervoidians. What a shocker. The Outervoidians are beings of unbelievable power that were created by The I an unknowable amount of time before the creation of the Omniverse. The most famous of the Outervoidians are The Employers, although not a single Outervoidian besides them is proud of that fact. In truth, most Outervoidians are far removed from how The Employers behave. Knowledge on Outervoidian culture is elusive due to their very infrequent communication with the denizens of the Omniverse/Multiverse, however what is known is that their social exchanges are akin to what beings of a lower dimensional scale would call sharing dreams. The average Outervoidian largely spends their time warshipping The I or generally seeking what is roughly translated from their language as "Ascension." Overall, contact with these beings is extremely rare but so long as one remains respectful in their presence it should be a relatively safe encounter.
Horrors
The only other known beings to inhabit the Outervoid are groups of mindless, violent, and overall nasty beings known simply as "Horrors" which is what the Outervoidian word for them roughly translates to. These beings are a result of Outervoidian warshipping gone wrong, something about their Jungian shadow selves taking form as physical beings or some shit. If you so much as see one of these things, you may as well off yourself before they get to you because a majority of the things they'll do to you will make you wish you were.
