Querria

Querria was a large, oil-covered planet which was the homeworld of the Binkers, a highly advanced civilization of amphibious creatures.

Querria was almost completely covered in oceans of oil and water, with large undersea dwellings being the primary residences of the limber, amphibious Binkers. The Binkers used the two oceans, the oil ocean and the water ocean, as seperate hunting grounds and farming lands, rotating oceanic crops in between the two.

The Binkers had two gods which they warshipped; Fal Krey, and Fal Vora. Fal Krey was the protector of the oil, which they called 'Krey', and Fal Vora was the protector of the water, which they called 'vora'. Each harvest season, the two gods were given a sacrifice of seven Binker children (as was custom).

The Gods didn't want children sacrificed, and had attempted numerous times to punish the Binkers and communicate to them that such sacrifices were not neccessary.

Wrath of Fal Krey

Fal Krey filled the oil ocean with rocks and stones, Binker symbolism for wrongness and sin. The Binkers interpreted this as the gods being unsatisfied with only seven children, so they killed two more. Fal Krey, growing frustrated, destroyed all of the oil crops in the southern hemisphere.
