Rory Freeman was a disgraced particle physicist and inventor who was fascinated with the long-lost civilizations of old. He was the older brother of Gordon Freeman.
Education
Rory Freeman suffered from chronic heart disease and as such was exempt from the draft during the Great META War. As such, he was able to get an actual fucking education. attended MIT and graduated MAGA Cum Laude. This was Grand, and he went on to apply for jobs around the country. He applied to work in numerous prolific laboratories; including but not limited to the Max Clot Dignitarium, the Rochester Institute of Technology, and the Black Mesa Research Facility. In 43 BB, he was hired as a lead engineer at Black Mesa, working on a top secret research project, the details of which he really wasn't at liberty to say.
