Starfish were stellar-borne animals which lived in the surface of The Sun. With scales of hardened iron and eyes of molten gold, they were prized for their nutritional value and extractible resources. They went extinct in 20,031 during the Waifurian Civil War, when they were depleted due to overuse as a missile fuel for intraterrestrial warfare.
