The first volume of 'Because It Cried', was a famous and well received series of images that were created sometime between 2 AB - 10 AB, (creator unknown).

The series featured various pictures of human infants, with the caption text "because it cried" in each image and ultimately captured the innocence and tenderness of an infant human, and was able to display it in an artistic way.
