Donut, the state's longtime comptroller, provided financial advising and investment services for nearly 200 years throughout numerous forms of government, rendering him the state's most famous and influencial figure; and leading to his immortalization in a massive, marble bust, 400 times the size of the Empire State building, erected in Austin following his Death. This bust was so big that it altered the rotation of the Earth and sunk Texas approximately 4 meters into the ground, flooding large portions of it. However, the soil, finally, became arable.
