TOP-B

TOP-B was a small terrestrial planet and the first planet in the TOP system. It was used as a massive galactic garbage dump, and its atmosphere was formed entirely from trash and biological waste dumped there across history. The planet lacked a magnetic field, and so, were the trash imports ever to cease, the 10 billion mammalesque denizens of TOP-B would have incinerated from solar radiation, as the atmosphere was formed largely of particulates from fecal residue and other excretements from carbon-based life-forms. Thusly, a 'Shit Exchange Ordinance' was implemented with TOP-B and the other nearby systems, wherein, for a small fee, TOP-B's Wasteduke would subsidize the dumping and pollution of his homeworld by their neighbors and allies. Its rings were artificial, and comprised nearly entirely of Human, Humash, and Zerri fecal excrement; acting as a sort of 'emergency backup atmosphere' that could be summoned to the surface, should the need ever arise.
