The Employers were a group of three all-powerful extra-Omniversal entities who watched over the Omniverse. They resided outside of the Rick Hernia Omniverse, in the Outervoid, although at times they ventured into the Omniverse to nudge things, from time to time. Usually, though, their subservient Employees carried out their bidding.
The Employers were the Author, keeper of balance, the Auditor, keeper of space, and Chraunor, keeper of time.
