The Lambda Incident was a mass casualty event occurring at the Black Mesa Research Facility in 20 BB. It involved a Resonance Cascade (caused by the collision of the Sauron Microcosm and a Xen crystal) which destabilized the fabric of time and space, resulting in Xen creatures entering Earth through emigration and Ronald Reagan's Psychomites becoming a serious problem for the Homeowner's Association of America.
