Lloyd Droid

Lloyd Droids (Otherwise known as Lloyderers, LLoydlets, Lloydites, Clankeroonies, Clankeroos, Lloyds) were humanoid personal assistant bots which could be purchased from Lloyd Incorporated as a box of pieces and assembled by the buyer, and programmed for a number of purposes. They were invented by the sad scientist, Christopher Lloyd, in 1010 AB, as part of his technology company's celebration of the Waifurian Empire's 1,000'th year. They were based on a previous model, the Christopher Droids, which was notably less resilient and dependable, and whose instances had frequently ended up being sold into slavery on mining planets or tomato harvesting fields. The lighting of the Lloyd Droid was indicitive of the purpose of the bot.

Colors

Lloyd Droids were colored according to their programming and purposes. RED Lloyd Droids were programmed for attack purposes or as body guards. BLUE Lloyd Droids were programmed to fish, dive, or swim, for research or other anomalous purposes. YELLOW Lloyd Droids were programmed to prepare food, tidy the home, and take care of human & humash children. GREEN Lloyd Droids were programmed with no intended purpose other than to explore and learn, acting as repositories of information. PURPLE Lloyd Droids provided romantic and sexual services. ORANGE Lloyd Droids were employed in laboratories and space stations, doing the tasks simply impossible for humans to complete.
