Description

The Lone 5 Tick, also known as Amblyomma Pentacus, was a species of tick with a possible connection to the Five Warden.

Habitat

The Lone 5 Tick inhabited almost every known celestial body within the Omniverse, with the notable exclusion of rogue planets/moons such as Nibiru, Discorthia, and Mond.

Behaviors and Properties

The Lone 5 Tick was a largely passive species (for a tick) primarily feeding off of a being’s lifeforce rather than their blood. It never took more lifeforce than it needed and a full meal could sustain it for decades. This did, however, result in the unfortunate consequence of the Life Plague, a disease in which if the tick bit a being, and then bit a being lower in status than the first being, i;e biting a human and then an animal, the lower being’s body would eventually break down due to the overwhelming amount of soulpower residing in its physical form. Strangely enough, the Lone 5 Tick could not reproduce on its own. It is believed that the 5 Warden may have inadvertently spread these ticks wherever he went, as planets he frequented often became hotspots of Lone 5 Tick activity. The Lone 5 Tick went extinct before 800,000 AB, largely due in part due to the events of the Mortal Annihilation Initiative.
