Syndor City

Syndor City was a postmodern high-tech 'utopia' city which was built on the site of Washington D.C. during the time of the Waifurian Empire.
City of Ghosts
Syndor City was commissioned by the Waifurian Imperial Historium as a monument to the past, intended to honor (or at least, appear to honor) the Americans and Aeternians who worked hard to build the countries that the Empire was founded on. Replicas of ancient American landmarks dotted the dystopian cityscape, including a holographic Capitol dome, a solid platinum Statue of Liberty, and a gigantic, floating Washington Monument.
A densely populated Urban Center, Snydor city was to the Waifurian Empire what New York City had been to the United States. It was the tourist capital of the Empire, and was also the commercial center of the galaxy. The Waifurian Imperial Army had a strong presence here, and the Syndor City Police (SCP) were one of the largest law enforcement entities in the Local Supercluster, having over four hundred thousand active duty police officers at any given point. Hundreds of civilians were arrested daily, often for minor offenses, such as marijuana, crack, or Reveal Candy posession. They were all thrown into the Syndor Superprison, which housed, at maximum, roughly twenty million inmates (usually it was near full capacity). Of course, no civilians who were rich or famous were ever arrested by the SCP.

Denizens
A combination police and surveillance state, Syndor City was the very definition of a 'dystopia'- yet, for some reason, people from across the Omniverse were attracted to it, and continued to move there and do business in the bustling imperial core. Originally, the city had been constructed as an exclusive city for only the rich and wealthy; however, they soon discovered they needed someone to do all of the things they didn't want to; so, the poor and impoverished of the Empire (roughly 75%) began flooding in, quickly building Syndor City to having one of most successful infrastructures and one of the largest economies in Omniversal History.
