The planet was completed in 24 AB and was heavily subsidized by the Waifurian Empire, for unknown reasons, given their ostracization and disdain for the son of the former God Emperor. It's estimated the Trump Toroid cost Waifurian Taxpayers around $55 Quadrillion USD over fifteen years. The planet was locked into orbit around the sunswallowing supermassive black hole at the center of the Milky Way, Sagittarius A. Don Jr. Ran it like one massive Trump-themed theme park, and even had High Mar-A-Lothgar transplanted from Wyoming onto the planet's surface.
