Venus
Venus was a middle-class terrestrial planet that orbited Sol. It was notable for rotating backwards and having a day that was longer than it’s year.
Climate Catastrophe
Venus was inhospitable to most life. This was due to a climate catastrophe which occurred in 10,000 B.B. However, this wasn’t always the case.
Life: A Miracle
In 200,000 B.B, the first highly intelligent civilization in the Milky Way was birthed on Venus. The Venusians had thrived, being in the habitable zone of Sol and with the perfect combination of elements to make carbon-based life possible. Millions of different species evolved, and two major intelligent races arose; the Walkers and the Crawlers.
The Walkers and Crawlers were at war for many centuries, however, after a time they finally came together in the spirit of globalism. Their society quickly developed from one based on family values to one focused on power, and by extension, greed.
Globalist Dystopia
The Venusians began making marvelous technological achievements. While the few rich Venusians rose to power, many were left at the bottom, struggling to make ends meet. The Venusian World Government began focusing on the profitability of big business and ignoring the average citizen.
The Venusians polluted their atmosphere with toxic gases and ignored the signs that their planet was dying. They dumped trash into the oceans and murdered each other with nuclear weapons in the name of “world peace”.
After several hundred years of exponential societal collapse, the last Venusian died when he was immolated from mercuric acid rain and seven hundred and forty-two percent greater atmospheric pressure than his body was accustomed to.
