The Wyoming Incident involved the hijacking of a local television station and subsequent auditory torture of the good citizens of the state of Wyoming in 14 BB.

Summary

The Wyoming Incident occurred on June 6th, 14 BB, at approximately 7:33 PM local time. Wyoming residents who were enjoying sports broadcasts or watching the news were rudely interrupted by several uncanny disembodied heads appearing on their television screens. This went on for several minutes, and residents who didn't turn off their television sets were subject to extreme auditory torture by 8:33 PM.

The frequencies being broadcast by the Wyoming Incident were suspected to have been engineered specifically to make the human eyeballs vibrate, draining them of their natural Legumish Energy. As this was what enabled humans to have color vision, more than 80% of those affected were rendered completely color-blind in the days that followed.

The Wyoming Incident was never traced back to a particular source; however, the word 'Event' was played occasionally over the disturbing video footage in a monotone, text-to-speech voice.
