Levast 2 was a large terrestrial planet in the far-flung extragalactic Levast system. It was an arid, extremely warm world, with an unstable magnetic core that saw its poles rapidly shift direction semi-annually. It was home to the largest clay deposit in the Omniverse. The planet was frequently the target of attempted terraforming endeavors by the Lobs; usually to little success, due to the planet's erratic magnetic field. The oceans on its surface were incredibly saline; usually toxic to life, including Lobs. Lobs terraforming efforts included massive, orbital desalination plants, which typically crashed down spectacularly onto Levast 2. The Lob space program was a kernel of its potential, due to the failure of Lobs to implement any sort of meaningful background check or knowledge test in their Science Program hiring process.
