Jupiter

Jupiter was a middle-class gas giant that orbited Sol. It had dozens of unique moons, and most of them got along. The four major moons were Ganymede, Io, Callisto, and Europa. It was the subject of the Grand Tack Hypothesis and Jumping Jupiter Scenario,

Jupiter was a galactic hotspot for gas mining. It was home to several cloud cities, including Bidenheim and Jovia. Mining was also done on Callisto and Io. The JMC, or Jupiter Mining Corporation, operated as the de facto government of Jupiter and its surrounding moons.
