Shelby L. Barnes was an American ectologist and premiere researcher on the Guest Family, a family of supernatural beings which exhibited strange and bizarre behaviors, and which haunted her and her cohort Doctor Jekyll Hyde at their New Jersey Laboratory, eventually driving the latter clinically insane.
