The Force was not something one chose; the Force always chose those who would be Force-Sensitive. However, eating large quantities of Bismuth was known to increase Force Sensitivity among sentient lifeforms. Rick Hernia was one of the most prominent Force-Wielders in the Omniverse, and he spread the way of the Force across the stars.
