Rick Hernia, facing two Enclave Spacesoldiers atop the Hars Parliament building in Careegar.

The Blampistian Gigasiege was the Enclave's invasion of the BLAMPIST-1 System. The battle begin in 999,978 AB after an OmniStar 'Peace Drone' was shot down by Hars defense systems on BLAMPIST-1 G. This 'Peace Drone' had been allegedly sent by Corporatus to 'Investigate Prospective Markets' among the Vardonnens on BLAMPIST-1 G. This action alerted the Enclave to a previously unknown Hars presence on the planet, and, percievably, a hostile one. A full scale invasion was launched against the BLAMPIST-1 system, with the intention of wiping out dissent and subjugating one of the Omniverse's most populous and influencial systems under Enclave control.

Omniversal Historians have long suspected that the Peace Drone was intentionally sent into Hars territory in a secretive Kamikaze maneuver, designed to provide the Enclave and OmniStar with a justification for invading the system.

On April 44, 999,978 AB, a Hars atmospheric scout spotted a mysterious technology floating along the ridge around the hidden city of Careegah on BLAMPIST-1 G. The technology was warned in Hars, American, and Amaric tongues to stay away; however, it declined. (This was explained by an OmniStar spokesperson who claimed that the technology was a 'Peace Drone' from the OmniStar Corporation, used to surveil and identify potential markets in uncontacted civilizations and systems, and had no audio input or output).

The Hars atmospheric scout, Amordikamei Fermanikot II, followed Hars protocol and vaporized the unidentified technology as it crossed into Careegar's city limits.

A so-called equal response was initiated by the Enclave Star Patrol Unit 44, in defense of their 'critical ally', OmniStar. This equal response consisted immediate orbital bombardment of the entire mountain range that resulted in a decimation of the Hars' camoflauge shield and power generators. Immediately, huge fireballs of burning technology equipment collapsed inward onto the city centers. The Hars panicked and fled into their mountainside bunkers, leaving only critical military personnel remaining in the city. An automatic SOS signal, triggered by the energy infrastructure's failure, was sent out, which was recieved thusly by the people of Vardonna.

Now, dearies, a quick history lesson of Vardonna, and indeed the people of the BLAMPIST-1 System, must be had, in order to understand the context of what would come next. The Governor, once the most powerful man in the sector, the part-Ig-Serroid bastard son of Cha'ril (the Five Warden), had long been exiled from BLAMPISTian society. His ideas - of goodwill, of social cohesion, of acting unto others with goodwill, and raising each other up, had not exactly settled well with the largely soullean, Waifuria-rotten Humash populace of BLAMPIST-1 G. The population, through tens of thousands of years of propoganda, Waifurian military occupations and parades, and years of retelling and misrepresentation of the system's role in the Waifurian Civil War and Second Great META War, had grown incredibly nationalist and loyal to the former Waifurian Empire. In fact, the entire system had voluntarily surrendered to the Waifurian Empire - aside from the Governor and a group of Free Planet rebels - whose dissent had been thoroughly quelled by a Legumish intervention by the Five Warden himself. For most of the Waifurian Empire's history - BLAMPIST-1 had been a loyal center of power projection for the Mummy and his acolytes to wield.

And although over 800,000 years had passed since the collapse of Waifuria, and the BLAMPIST-1 system's subsequent 'declaration of neutrality', Waifurian Nationalism remained the dominant political belief within Vardonsted, the massive capital city of BLAMPIST-1 G. The Humash had adapted the Waifurian philosophy to their own- believing that they were the natural successors of the Waifurian Empire, upholding its values in their Humash ways (which were, coincidencally, extremely compatible with Waifurian Capitalist Thought).
